Hot yoga is a “mind over matter” practice that will keep you focused and energize your body. This particular style of yoga, boosts the inner confidence and relieves the mind as well as body of major stress. While All yoga practice enhances the body’s muscle tone and strength, hot yoga enhances the lymphatic systems by flushing out a multitude of toxins. Doing yoga in a hot room increases your pulse rate therefore boosting the metabolism by allowing your blood vessels to become flexible and burn plentiful calories making this practice great for weight loss. The rush of endorphins after completing my sweaty class will leave you feeling ready to accomplish anything!
There are some precautions to doing hot yoga along with any intense training.
1. Stay hydrated. 2. Save the meals for after hot yoga (small snacks like fruits are a good choice before class). 3. Listen to your body. 4. Lastly, if you’re for any reason concerned further about practicing hot yoga, check with your doctor.
